CCAC’s Breakthrough 2011: renewing the vision

breakthrough - front page

Cebu City Alliance Church (CCAC) would be launching Breakthrough 2011 this Friday, July 15 at 6:30 PM at the CCAC sanctuary. Like the previous Breakthroughs, this event seeks to challenge the CCAC members to trust God for what is not yet in their hands, through faith-based giving of tithes and offerings. Aside from that, this will also be an evening to recall how God has amazingly moved during the last fiscal year in the church through its various ministries and the lives of its members, workers and volunteers.

breakthrough the years

I did some of the videos presented every year which was something that I had no experience or even imagination to compensate for the latter. Looking back now, I thank the Lord for allowing me to take that incredible risk every time.

Now on in its 5th year, Breakthrough will be themed as ‘Renewing the Vision.’ This is indeed a good time to seek God’s direction for CCAC. How would the church continue to be effective in its existing roles, would its members take the leap of faith in obedience to the Lord’s will and where would God lead the church for such a time as this – are just among the questions that would be prayerfully raised in this special occasion.

It is then heartwarming to note that the Breakthrough tradition has carried on amidst the changing times. The difficulties and challenge are different every year but at the end of the day, there is at least one thing that has never changed: God never missed out on any of His promises to His people.

He will continue to astound, surprise and humble CCAC in Breakthrough 2011 and even in the next to come.
